Will I have to show marriage certificate?
- No, we don't ask for marriage certificate. We just need identification documents of both the guests.
Can i check-in and check-out a few hours later? / Can I book room for one hour?
- You can check-in and check-out a few hours later, that choice is entirely up to you. But one whole day rent will be applicable, since there are fixed costs associated with it, even if you use for 1 hour or an entire day. We still have to do full laundry service, room clean, change of toiletries and other room upkeep costs.
Do you accept student ID, birth cerificate or visiting card?
- No, our policy doesn't allow us to accept any ID other than passport, NID or driver's license.
Can I check-in with a different partner?
- If you check-in with the same partner, we won't need marriage certificate. However, our software requires an additional document, in the event of a new partner. In such case, we will need marriage certificate.
Do you accept provisional NID?
- Yes, we also accept provisional NID in certain circumstances.
Is there any age restrictions for guests check-in?
- All local guests needs to be 18 or above to use our accommodation facility.
What is your check-in & check-out time?
- Our check-in time is 2:00 pm and check-out time is 12:00 pm.
Can I check-in early?
- Yes, you can check-in early at 10:00 am, subject to availability. Please kindly call us within 24 hours of arrival, so we can confirm the window of early check-in. Good to know that, generally 88% of our guests in the past have checked-in early without any issue. For early check-in, we highly recommend booking Royal Suite or Deluxe Twin, as we have a lot more of this two category rooms, as we have only 7 Deluxe Double.
Can I check-out late?
- Yes, you can check-out late at up-to 3:00 pm, subject to availability. Just let us know a day before your departure, we can confirm the availability of late check-out. Good to know that, generally 93% of our guests have in the past were allowed late check-out without any issue.
Is breakfast free/Is the breakfast buffet?
- Yes, you get complimentary buffet breakfast with all our rooms.
Is there any hidden charge, is the displayed rate my final price?
- No there is no hidden charges, what you see is what you pay. All our prices are inclusive of VAT & Service Charge.
Am I allowed to bring in visitors into my room?
- We have a visitors policy at our property like all hotels. To ensure guest safety and property security, no visitors will be allowed after 10:00 pm and all visitors have to be approved by Front Desk before allowing the visitor into the room of a guest. If you have specific visitor requirements, please do ask us questions, so before checking-in you are fully informed of our in house policy.
Do you have late check-in facility?
- Our reception operates 24/7, round the clock! So you can check-in anytime!
What sort of ID do I need during Check-In?
- For security purpose we will need identification documents for the arriving guests. For foreign guest only passport will be accepted. For local guest, we will accept either a driving license, passport and or national ID.
Do you provide special corporate discounts on group booking?
- We consider any reservation over 5 rooms as a group booking and the longer the booking is for, the more value added savings we can incorporate into the quote.
How do I get from the airport to Hotel 71?
- The easiest way to get to Hotel 71 is to tell the cab chauffeur you need to get to Bijoy Nagar near Ramna Park or Panir Tanki more precisely. Our physical address is 47 Bijoy Nagar Dhaka - 1000, Bangladesh. The concierge team at Hotel 71 can also arrange airport pick-up services using hotel operated air-conditioned car. You can book an airport pick-up arrangement by emailing us at info@hotel71.com.bd or calling us at +880 17500 76933 (also on viber and whatsapp). One of our entourage will wait for at the airport and will wait with a placard to facilitate an easy arrival to Hotel 71.
Do you have airport pick-up service and or metro ride service?
- Yes, we do! We charge USD20 for pickup service for up to 3 people. Any additional person will incur USD5 extra. Local metro service is arranged on hourly rate basis.
Does Hotel 71 offer free parking for hotel guests?
- We do offer complimentary self-parking in our two floor underground parking plots which can accommodate up to 40+ cars. Valet parking is also available at free charge.
Can I check or store my luggage with Hotel 71?
- Yes, you can! We have had few travellers who wants to travel without baggage outside Dhaka city, so they store their baggage with us. Upon Check-in just instruct how you would like the storage to follow (that is store for how many nights and number of units) and we will handle it accordingly.
How far is Hotel 71 from airport?
- We are about 12 KM from Dhaka airport, translating that into time, it would be about 40 minutes on moderate traffic. If on lean hour traffic, you are looking at 15 minutes far from the airport.
Do you have internet in rooms?
- Internet access is available in the rooms and it is complimentary. It also can be accessed property wide, even in public areas. Happy surfing!

Does Hotel 71 have any resort or property fee?
- There are no property fees, all complimentary services comes absolutely free of charge, such as newspaper, coffee & teas, bottled drinking water, shower gel, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers etc.
Does your hotel provide accommodation arrangement for disabled guests?
- We do have a disabled wheel-chair. But however we don’t have a disabled room or disabled toilet facility.

- Due to guest security, our house policy strictly states no visitors are allowed to accompany a guest into the room unless during exceptional circumstance and if visitors signs one of our visitors form and also given that our conditions are satisfied. However you are more than welcome to your our business lounge for free with your guest. You will have your complete privacy.
What type of breakfast do you provide?
- Breakfast is complimentary and is strictly to be consumed at the restaurant. Room service of breakfast will be chargeable. 71 features international breakfast and rotates breakfast menus every day, so diversity of choice can be felt throughout the week. It comes from wide selection of menu, includes, local, Indian and continental. Custom breakfast can be arranged at no additional cost if request comes from a group of 10+ rooms. We start breakfast from 7:00 am and runs until 10:00 am, so well suited to both corporate or leisure travelers alike.
Can guests receive mail at the hotel?
- Mail and packages can be received by guests of the Hotel 71. All packages are received and stored at our front desk. Please make sure that the packages are addressed to the person whose name is registered as a guest in the hotel so that we can locate from the reservation. We hold packages for 30 days before they are returned to the sender.
Is smoking allowed at the hotel?
- Smoking is permitted at the rooftop and public areas and some selected rooms.
Can I pay in foreign currency?
- You can pay either in USD or its equivalent in BDT (taka) in cash. We don’t accept any other currency other than USD or BDT. You can also pay by credit card, we will convert the reservation total amount in BDT from USD and collect those amount from your credit card. We process mastercard, visa card, american express and JCB.
Does the hotel provide baby cot or wheel chair?

Does your hotel provide a fitness facility?
- Yes. The fitness center is located at the rooftop. Room guest also gets complimentary access to it.
What is your hotel's cancellation policy?
- Our cancellation fee is the most lenient on the internet. We don't take your credit card or charge you cancellation fee in the event of booking cancellation. We simply request that you let us know of your cancellation 24 hours before arrival as a courtesy, so we can manage our inventory better.
Can I modify or change an existing reservation?
- If you have used our booking engine, you can simply make a new reservation with the new dates or change room type by going to this link https://hotel71.com.bd/reservation and the older reservation will be automatically cancelled from our PMS. - Guest privacy and security is at the foremost priority in our hotel operational policy. We have purchased our booking engine from Siteminder who is a global authority on hospitality industry. We also have highly trained staffs and rigorous firewall and encryption procedure to prevent any unexpected data loss.
How can I get my bill from one of my past stay? Whom do I contact in regards to a discrepancy on my bill?

- Our housekeeping generally upon finding items on a Check-Out room directs them at a Lost and Found department within Front Desk. We than right away email the guest about the item which has been found. But sometimes guest uses multiple email address and sometimes email ends up in junk box. What is children stay policy and what is your maximum number of guests per room?
- All our rooms are subject to children stay policy. One children under 6 years old can stay for free if using the existing bed. Children above 6 will incur USD20 per night. Our Suite Room can be equipped with an additional bed for the third person. Additional bed rate is USD20 per night.
Does hotel allow pets?
- Hotel policy unfortunately does not allow pets.
Do you have any vegetarian menu?
- Yes, we do! There are plenty of vegetarian menu options in our Swadhika restaurant outlet. Even during buffet breakfast you will find around 7 – 10 vegetarian menu options.
Do you add any tax or vat charge?
- No, all our room rent is inclusive of vat and service charge, if you book from our website that is! Other online media partner give rates which are without vat and service charge. NB: Our website rates are the lowest, do your own rate research!
